St. Patrick's Celebration
The St. Patrick’s celebrations will take place in Galway City from Friday 15th March to Monday 18th March 2024.
The St. Patrick’s Day parade in Galway for 2024 promises to be the grandest spectacle the city has ever witnessed. Galway City Council has meticulously planned a myriad of events spanning the bank holiday weekend, all geared towards commemorating Ireland’s cherished national holiday.
Celebrating Our Culture
The St. Patrick’s Festival parade in Galway on March 17th is the culmination of a 3-day celebration of Irish culture. It showcases local artists and community groups’ creativity under the theme ‘Olympics 2024’, with 3000 participants parading through the city center starting at 11:30 am, lasting over an hour. This vibrant event celebrates Galway’s diverse culture and talent through inclusive programming. Additional events will be held citywide over the bank holiday weekend.
